Imagine Designs, Jewelry Studio is a family owned and operated, grass roots business which grew out of owners’ Bob & Rachel Krug's passion for beautiful, one-of-a-kind jewelry. Opening the studio in Helena in 2007, these Montana natives each have over 30 years experience in the jewelry industry. Bob has been designing & making jewelry since 1990 and has mastered the craft. Rachel makes an exclusive line of one-of-a-kind pieces using sterling silver, copper & various types of stones. Repair work is done on site by son, Kyle. In 2023 we expanded our company and opened a second location in Missoula, MT, Bob & Rachel's home town. We work in gold, platinum & silver and use only natural gemstones including diamonds, Montana & Yogo sapphires, rubies, pearls; the list is vast. If opals are on your list, we cut them here and make beautiful designs around them. In addition to custom work, we offer a full line of beautiful, finished jewelry from diamond engagement rings to sapphire jewelry, gold, silver and many, many different gemstones. “Jewelry can be special. Jewelry can be one of a kind. It doesn’t have to cost exorbitant amounts.” Until the 20th century, every piece of jewelry was made by a craftsman. The craftsman allowed for customization, for unique jewelry for each individual wearer, but this artisanal approach has been largely displaced by mass production’s economy and speed. Imagine Designs promises a blend of these benefits. With design executed by software and a digital manufacturing process built on 3D printing, Imagine Designs offers jewelry that is tailored to the size and customization's of the wearer. The company combines a return to the possibilities of the old way of making jewelry with the speed and cost savings of the new. All work is done on site and every design is an original. We design using a 3D computer program so the customer can see exactly what their jewelry will look like before it's finished. From the computer, our 3D printer prints the resin model for the customer's viewing and from there it is cast & finished in the customer’s chosen metal; most commonly used are 14 karat & 18 karat yellow, white or rose gold. The customer oversees the design from start to finish; if changes need to be made, they can be done before the item is printed.
